Springtime - The favorite season for many people. And rightfully so. The weather is cooperating, the list of activities is endless, and the anticipation for summer is huge. 1. Recreational parks

Spring is the perfect season to do things outside due to the pleasant and mild climate. This includes visits to amusement parks, such as Europa Park, or to an adventure pool.

Alpamare, Pfäffikon

Alpamare in Pfäffikon is the first and largest adventure pool of its kind in Switzerland. The area covers 25,000 m2 and even made it into the Guinness Book of Records in 1991 and 1999. And rightly so, because it has endless things to offer. These include:

3. Mountain Biking

The long winter is over, and it's time to enjoy the fresh spring air again. The best way to do that is to get your bikes ready and head out on a biking adventure!

That's why spring is the perfect time to plan a bike tour:

1. The temperatures are pleasant and there is no sign of the summer heat yet.

2. The snow has melted in most tour areas and the ground is no longer frozen.

3. Since spring brings an increased number of sunshine hours, and it is light for longer again, you can plan your tour until after 5 pm.

6. Swiss Miniature in Ticino

For over 60 years, the Swiss Miniature Museum has presented Switzerland in rare 1:25 scale. The park is located in Melide, Ticino and is surrounded by a breathtaking mountain backdrop of Monte San Giorgio, Monte San Salvatore and Monte Generoso.

This open-air museum will show you 129 models of famous buildings and means of transportation in Switzerland.

The museum is open daily from 09:00 to 18:00.

Among them are Rapperswil Castle. and Chillon Castle and the Bundeshaus in Bern.

7. Hiking

Probably the most popular hobby in Switzerland is hiking. For the Swiss, it doesn't matter what time of year it is, hiking always goes. No wonder that this leisure activity is regularly practiced and enjoyed; with miles of routes, wonderful viewpoints and easy to difficult trails, hiking becomes a great fun and experience!

There, more than 6600 animals attract millions of visitors every year, while in Zurich there are 4000.
